A Super Busy Month

Wow, friends! July was insane. I spent the first week in Italy, but then had 9 (NINE!) More More More gigs, plus a handful of acoustic dates…it was exhausting. But the good kind, where you know you worked your ass off and earned every penny you made. Of course, almost every one of those dates was outside, so I also sweated off quite a bit. Gotta stay hydrated.

August looks to be slightly less busy, but just as much fun. Of course, I’m a day or two late to the party here, but I have stuff coming up at Farm Brew Live, Union Jack’s, Lib’s Grill, and Purple Moose - the old favorites - as well as some new rooms. It’s gonna be a lot of fun. More acoustic-y this month, but that’s ok. Just have to re-learn a few songs…

Speaking of which, I’m learning some new stuff, and as always, I’m open to requests. If you have a tune you want me to learn, sound off and I’ll see what I can do. I know you all well enough to know that I won’t get much in the way of serious requests, but I’ll put the call out anyway.

September is a little light, but it should pack up within the next few days. If you need me, shoot me a message and let’s make it happen. Solo, duo, trio or quatro. Whatever you need, I’m Available (see what I did there?)

Since July was so busy musically, I didn’t get as much read as I’d like. Really only 1 and a half books. “Shadows of Self” by Brandon Sanderson, and about half of “The Runelords” by David Farland. I’m still working on that one. I tried to slog my way through a biography of Beethoven (my favorite of the classical composers) but this particular one was BORING, so I abandoned it. Today I’m headed down to Manassas, VA for a gig and, while I’m there, I’m stopping at a tremendous used book store; McKay’s Used Books. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend it. It’s enormous and they have EVERYTHING, with really great prices. Anywho, see you next time.
