Year’s End

As Thanksgiving ends and we roll into the Christmas/Hannukah/Festivus season, the schedule lightens up a bit. I have a couple holiday parties, a few More More More dates, and JUST picked up something on New Year’s Eve (nothing like waiting til the last minute.) If I’m being honest, I’m a little grateful for a slow few weeks. Things have been super busy for me OUTSIDE of the gigging world, and I intend to take some time and re-energize. I’m looking forward to spending time with my family and getting some things done around the house. Even a little recording.

I’ve begun booking out 2024, and I still have some dates open in January, February, and March, so if you want me as a solo, duo, trio, or fill in, please let me know. Guitar, bass, vocals, tambourine. I can do it all. On a related note, and as I mentioned the other week, Mike Newberry & the Availables is becoming a thing. I’m always looking to add to my roster, so if you’d like to be an Available, drop me a line. Who knows…you may even pass the audition.

I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for a tremendous year. To all of you who showed up to a show, you make it possible for me to do what I do. Please don't ever think I'm ungrateful. To all of you who gave me new opportunities for musical growth, and for growth as a business, you've made me better as a musician and a man, and I am forever thankful. I wish you all a happy and safe Holiday with family and friends, and friends who are family. Spread joy. Be good humans. I still have some 2023 dates, and I hope to see you, but either way, catch you in 2024!
